Circular Economy Accelerator Program – Update

August 15, 2024

RIEP is helping to realize climate goals and advance local circular economy achievements for BC’s rural coastal communities. As a regional partner with Synergy Foundation’s  Project Zero’s Circular Economy Accelerator. RIEP is proud to have sponsored these Rural Island Businesses as a component of our Green Business Accelerator Project.  Congratulations to Salt Spring Sea Salt and Pender’s Big Dig’Em , recent graduates of Project Zero, for their recent efforts towards exploring new ways to recycle or upcycle waste into secondary raw materials, maximizing its economic value and reducing demand for virgin resources.
