Join the RIEP Movement!
As Islanders, we know that one island cannot be resilient alone. Our concerns are complex and challenging – from climate mitigation and local food resilience to workforce housing, arts vitality and business retention.
RIEP is passionate about keeping the 'islands vibe alive' through a thriving and respectful network of communities within the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples where we live, work and play.
We are the Community Network that connects islanders –celebrating the unique character and culture of each island, while facilitating collaboration and action to realize shared goals for enduring socio-economic well-being.
Whether you're an island resident, business, non-profit organization, or ally, we invite you to amplify your passion for keeping the island's vibe alive and thriving by joining RIEP!

“One of the key benefits of the Forum was networking and shared knowledge. I would expect that will continue to be the benefit I will derive from membership, as well as being connected to a rural island focused network.”
"RIEP understands that island life and islanders approach things differently. Each island has unique qualities, characters and ecologies but our values overlap. RIEP will be invited to the table to represent rural island values, challenges, and desires. The unified voice will have a greater impact."
"Standing together for strength in numbers to address common issues and problems."
