Denman Island: Pentlach Traditional Territory

February 8, 2021

Denman Island offers a rejuvenating, stress-free atmosphere, a vibrant arts scene, colourful people, lively events, a beautiful, natural environment, and lots of opportunities for active or restful recreation. Discover more than 50 talented local artists at the Denman Craft Shop or at individual artist studios, or enjoy a restorative healing treatment, class, or retreat. Explore our spectacular trails and parks (including 4 provincial parks) for hiking, biking, boating, swimming, birding, and wildlife watching.

Accommodation options on Denman Island include Bed and Breakfasts in a variety of beautiful island locales, a centrally-located hostel, and an oceanside provincial campground.

From home baking to homemade ice cream to home-grown produce and meat, Denman Island offers a variety of locally-produced food.

Denman’s year-round population of approximately 1,100 is an eclectic mix of artists, farmers, retirees, and progressive-minded people seeking a rural and often low-environmental impact lifestyle.

In normal times, we welcome visitors to our vibrant festivals and concerts – from art, pottery, and garden tours, to festivals for Readers & Writers, Baroque lovers.

We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. In the meantime, you can discover Denman Island virtually through the visitdenmanisland.ca website.
