From RIEP’s Forums and Connection Cafes, to programs like Rising Tide Business Services and Skills Up training, the Green Business Accelerator Project and Explore BC’s Rural Islands, to policy initiatives like our Forum Resolution Working Groups, everything RIEP does requires operational funds to keep us working on behalf of BC’s rural islands and remote coastal communities.

We're intent on continuing the work of facilitating community empowerment through engagement, collaboration, research, recommendations and action, and your voice and financial support are critical pieces of the resiliency puzzle.

By becoming a RIEP Donor your generosity supports RIEP’s good work – helping to achieve rural and coastal based/created solutions for realizing resilient and enduring island and coastal communities.

RIEP Members Speak:

“One of the key benefits of the Forum was networking and shared knowledge. I would expect that will continue to be the benefit I will derive from membership, as well as being connected to a rural island focused network.”

"RIEP understands that island life and islanders approach things differently. Each island has unique qualities, characters and ecologies but our values overlap. RIEP will be invited to the table to represent rural island values, challenges, and desires. The unified voice will have a greater impact."

"Standing together for strength in numbers to address common issues and problems."
